Time-Blok Marina G. (1910-1999) Russian female painter from St. Petersburg, noblewoman, Alexander Bloks niece.

She graduated from Bestuzhev courses of higher education for women. Time-Blok took drawing lessons with Alexander Benois. She taught principles of art skills at the Academy of Art school and V.Serov Higher School of Art. Her first personal exhibition took place in Leningrad in 1940. She took part in over 40 All-Union, republican, and foreign exhibitions. Two posthumous exhibitions of Time-Blok took place in Moscow in 1999 and 2001. Her works were sold at many leading western auctions (see reference book Russian Painters: 18th to 20th centuries by Solovyev V.D., 1994 edition 343 pp., 1996 edition 557pp.). She was a teacher of the famous aquarellist I. Mayorov. "Ballet Dancer", USSR, 1958, gouache and watercolour on paper, 60х40.
