A forged, cast, entwisted wire, brass, leather and bronse officers sabre.

Overall length - 97,5 sm; blade length - 81,0 sm; width at bolster - 2,7sm. A steel, four-sided blade with two wide fullers up to the middle of blade; an engraved almost removed gunsmith"s mark "Klingental" at bolster. A grip is formed by a guard with af olding plate, quillon, straight hilt and a pommel. Guard and quillon are of cast brass. At the plates at the inner part are the masters" marks in the form of an oval with letters FM and a sword between them. A mark:"MANCEAUX" is at the other. A wooden hilt is entirely entwisted with wire. France, middle of the XIX century. The present sabre is a fine antique arms and has historical and art value.
