A steel double-edged, lens-shaped in section, blade with one narrow fuller up the middle part of the blade. A grip formed by a crossguard with plates and straight hilt with pommel. The plate lengthwise the blade are of shell shape. Guard points take the form of acorn. A wooden octal has brass plugs. A pommel has a shape of knight"s helmet. West Europe, last quarter XIX c.
