Описание антикварного лота:

A Masonic sword in scabbard (Columbus knights lodge). Blade length 66,6 sm, width at bolster 1,6 sm, length with hilt 85,5 sm, length in scabbard 98,5 sm.

A steel double-edged lens-shaped in section blade. Blade all-length and both-sided etched with foliage pattern. The lodge coat of arms and its name are in cartouches set at the inner and outer sides. Gunsmith"s mark "T.C.GLEASON CHIKAGO ILL." is at the bolster. A grip formed by crossguard with a plate and straight hilt with a pommel. The guard is of a cast Zink alloy. The beams are three-leafed and incrusted with oak-tree leaves. The plate is of a baroque form with lodge coat of arms picture (at the cross ground is the earth and flying pigeon). A hilt is of a black plastic. A pommel is of a copper alloy made as Columbus"s bust. Full metal, sypro-nickel scabbard with a fitting of copper alloy consisted of a mouth, a mount with a prong and ferrule incrusted with floral pattern and military trophies.
