In a satisfactory state of preservation: paint layer swelled and rubbed, fields peeled off, upper left part replaced (18th-19th century), figure of pigeon restored, uneven oil varnish. The icon was painted by a highly skilled icon painter familiar with the canobical tradition and innovations of the the so-called "fryazhsky [Italian] style". The icon is of historical and cultural importance and is a very fine and extraordinary work of art of the time.
