68х25.5cm. Moscow-Holy Trinity and St. Sergius Laura, last quarter 19th century. In good condition. The icon is a copy of the cover of the sepulchre (shrine) of Saint Sergius. Icons of the sort, especially such big ones, are extremely rare. This subject matter, unlike once-common images of the saint, bears direct relation to the cult of his relics and is still esteemed nationwide.
