Chased, stippled, gilt brass oklad with five fittings. Central Russia, last third 19th century. In good condition (oklad partly soiled with modern paint). The image is a finest example of the Rublev-period Moscow icon painting. The icon is a work by a well-educated, high-level icon-painter. The oklad is among the best silver ones.
