Selivanovsky, 1802. "The Moscow Journal" was being published in 1791-1792 under the editorship of N.Karamzin, 8 issues being published in total. In 1801-1803 it was reprinted by S.Selivanovsky. This edition consisits of three parts: April, May and June issues having common pagination. The book contains I.Dmitriev"s and D.Khvostov"s verse, "Letters..." by N.Karamzin, reviews, and the translation of bard Ossian"s - Macpherson"s famous literary mistification - works. Original whole leather bindings, spine gilt. Bookplate of G.A.Mishin affixed to front endpaper, second-hand booksellers" notes on back endpaper. 17х10.5cm., good condition: owner"s inscriptions on title and endpaper, printing defect in heading on page 5. The edition is of collection value. Rare.
