In early 1713 Peter I"s closest associate Y.V.Brus concluded a treaty with Phillipp Heinrich Mueller, one of Europe"s best-known medallists. In less than two years of work in his workshop in Augsburg the medallist made dies for a series of 28 medals that reflected major Russia" victories over Sweden in 1702-1714. Original coins by this medallist are extremely rare.
