An icon of St.Arkady with a sealed reliquary. Egg tempera, gold leaf, gesso on wood panel.

27Х22. Central part of Russia, last third of the XIX century. The icon was not restored, in a good preservation, staining, rubbings of leaf gold plating. The content of the reliquary was not tested. Being according to the painting manner a general place of professional icon-painting in traditions of "malyshevskay" workshop this icon is interesting as a rare and actual names glossist.
