In 6 vol., vol.4, Moscow, N.Novikov Press, 1787, 346 pp. The Notes were first published in Paris in 1778 and translated into Russian in 1786, in Mikhalevo village, Klin District, Moscow Province, Russia. Full leather bindings, giltstamped spine, patterned endpapers, three coloured edges. Title page engraved with vignette and owner"s stamp. 24.5х18.5cm., in satisfactory condition: traces of spotted stamps on title page, tear to bindings, slight staining on pages. The edition is of historical importance.
