Volodin Mikhail Filippovich (1912 - 1987). Painter, member of the Union of Artists.

From 1938 to 1946, he studied at the Moscow Institute of Art (1938 - 1946) under the guidance of academician S. V. Gerasimov. М. Volodin painted lyrical landscapes and topical paintings (Concert on the Building Site, Flying Sputnik and others). From 1947 to 1989, he participated in all important all-Union and republic-wide exhibitions in his homeland. In the 1980s, his lyrical landscapes were featured in exhibitions and sales abroad. Works by the artist can be found in the collections of teh State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and other Russia"s musems, as well as in private collections at home and abroad (in Germany, Italy, Switzerland and other countries).
