A bronze mantel console clock with a pendulum and vertical escapement, a striking bell movement, one steel hand and moderator.

Dial engraved with: "John Ebsworth in New Chear Side Londini Fecit". Slight restoration. England, late of the XVIth century. The objects of such level could seldom be found at the modern antique market that gives the clock the status of a rarity. The item has a certain art, historical and museum value. The similar console clock is preserved in the Hermitage (Menshikov"s palace).
