Medal in honour of the 3rd anniversary of the October Revolution. 1917-20.

Ж.м, diameter 36mm. In F-VF condition. This medal is thought to be the first Soviet medal. It was awarded in the grand meeting of the Petrosovet (St.Petersburg City Council) to mark the 3rd anniversary of the October Revolution. The medal was issued in 2 varieties: in white metal (for meeting participants) and in yellow metal (for the employees who made it happen).
